Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER

ONE THING: Keep major projects on schedule by fostering strong working relationships with Team Leads, Contractors and Vendors

Role Standards – These must be done first and at all costs.

1. Maintain projected project timeline from beginning to end

2. Develop strategic plan and timeline of how to most effectively execute on project in collaboration with President

3. Be the main point of contact for Team Leads & Contractors

a. Conduct pre-job walk jobsite walk throughs with President and Contractors

4. Exercise great communication skills through daily and weekly meetings with team members.

a. Conduct weekly team meetings with Team Leaders

b. Conduct weekly safety meetings with Team

5. Review Employee time for accuracy - Twice Weekly approve time

6. Able to manage multiple projects and crews

a. Detail oriented - keep daily logs

i. Organized - Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed

ii. Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule

iii. Create weekly project report to submit to President each Thursday

iv. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

v. Manage sheet showing audits of labor/material on the projects

b. Meets team for layout/SOW

i. Quality control - regular walkthroughs with Team Leads

ii. Ensure loose ends are closed in a timely manner

iii. Track additional work or change orders

7. Able to work independently and able to prioritize important work from busy work

2. Regular Work Activities 80% – These must be done ongoing daily & weekly after the BIG ROCKS are complete.

1. Build and Maintain Quality Relationships with Contractors and Vendors

2. Responsible for As Built Plans - Accurate and up to date

3. Scheduling Truck Maintenance on time

4. Power Tool Inventory Inspection - Monthly

5. Filing Permits

6. Manage Shop Organization

7. Working as an electrician when other activities are done or as needed.

3. Leadership Responsibilities– How many people and which roles will be directly managed by this person?

1. 4 Team Lead Electricians

4. People Contacts and Interactions– What are the primary people contacts in this job (who, why, and how often)?

● Contractors and vendors- to foster relationships- multiple times a week

● Team Leads and other electricians - to guide and direct- daily

● President - to have update meetings at least twice a week

6. Role Qualifications and Experience– What prior work and life experience will help the person in this role succeed?

● 7 + years of experience as an electrician

● Proven track record of successfully managing other teams and projects

● The ability to lead, inspire, manage, and motivate team members

● Proven track record of quality workmanship

● Excellent knowledge of construction sites, electrical materials and equipment

● Able to plan ahead

● Excellent time management ability

● History of “owing” the job and never ever giving the job back

7. Compensation & Benefits

● Pay $75,000 or TBD based on experience.
