Chip Truck Drivers

This position requires operating a diesel chip truck to and from various work sites, driving on and off the highway.

Placement of chains on the tires may be required during winter driving.

Various visual inspections and safety checks must be done, such as overall visual inspection of the truck and trailer, adjusting the brakes, raising the hood to check water, oil and the engine compartment.

Requirements include:

Daily inspection of truck equipment for safety

Documentation of all loads

Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A

Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standards.
