This position is Monday through Friday, day shift, 8 hours per day located at the Biddle Branch.

Must be able to pass a criminal history background check, credit check, and drug screen which includes testing for marijuana.

Summary:

Provides support in the Loan Operations Department, Commercial Loan Department, Consumer/Small Business Lending Center, Mortgage Department and Branches by assisting with set-up and maintenance of loans. Responsible for documenting commercial/consumer loans via an automated software program (Laser Pro) and in accordance with established legal regulations and bank policies and procedures. Ensures correct combinations of documents are prepared and or received for each transaction to secure legal interest of the bank. Perform diverse duties in support of, and in conjunction with, the commercial/consumer loan portfolio maintenance, including but not limited to accurately setting up commercial/consumer loans in computer systems. Provide excellent customer service and administrative support for Commercial Loan Department, Consumer/Small Business Lending Center, Mortgage Department and Branches.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide friendly, courteous, and professional communication support, including responding to incoming telephone calls, electronic mail, voice mail and fax.

Monitor emails in the loan operations cue and respond to requests accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain document request log to ensure loan requests are being completed in chronological order and processed in a timely manner within expected deadlines.

Prepare and review loan documents to perfect and secure legal interest of the bank utilizing automated program within established timelines, verifying accuracy of input and documents produced.

Prepare early disclosures on all consumer and commercial loans and re-disclosures when necessary.

Assist in identifying HMDA reportable transactions. Determine appropriate coding to complete HMDA data input. Assist in HMDA upload for LAR reporting.

Board and review new and renewed loans for accuracy in the core system within established timelines.

Conduct file maintenance and review for accuracy in the core system within established timelines.

Review reports, balance loan control, correct loan unpostable items and update loan rates accurately daily.

Prepare loan payoffs, prepare loan payoff quotes, process payoff entries, close out imaging file, and release collateral within established timelines.

Assist in adding forced placement of insurance in the core system as directed by Credit Administration.

Understand flood insurance requirements to assist in adherence to the banks flood policy and procedures.

Assist in administering bank loan participations.

Complete monthly certifications accurately and complete all required internet compliance training within established timelines.

Attend department and staff meetings as requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in the financial industry preferred, but not required.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Good oral, written and telephone communication skills.

Strong proven interpersonal skills in order to provide superior quality service to teammates and customers, supporting the bank’s commitment to fun, professional, service-oriented working/business environment.

Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team, perform quality work and adhere to established timelines with or without direct supervision.

Ability to follow instructions and procedures, demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Problem-solving skills and ability to tactfully resolve difficult customer situations and deal with a variety of variables.

Good knowledge of Consumer, Residential and Commercial Lending.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

Excellent knowledge of office equipment essential to job performance: scanner, ten-key calculator, personal computer.

Strong knowledge of computer programs: CSI core operating system, Laser Pro, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet usage, etc.

Ability to maintain a satisfactory level of attendance as defined in the attendance policy.

Ability to look and project a professional image.
