Life and Health claims investigative firm in Vancouver looking for a part time Administrative Assistant 4-5 days a week, 5-6 hours per day based on case volume. Medical background is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls from clients, medical sources and others
Outgoing calls to medical sources to gather medical records for claims processing
Report writing using Microsoft Word
Opening mail and scanning documents
Preparing outgoing mail and UPS packages
Cross training and back up for other administrative duties as needed
Job Qualifications:
Attention to detail and deadlines a priority
Good typing skills – accuracy and spelling
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Outlook
Good telephone skills required
Self motivation and initiative a must
Highly organized, detail conscious and multi-tasking skills a priority
Must work well as part of a team
