Our Job Coach position offers you the opportunity to facilitate and support people on their road to success using the techniques and tools you provide them. Sunrise Enterprises has been working in Douglas county for over 50 years assisting persons with disabilities to find meaningful employment and achieve self-fulfilling lives.

DETAILS

 Part-Time

 $12.50/hr

 Hours may include evening and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Job coaching.

 Client supervision.

 Job modeling.

 Teaching appropriate behavior, dress, and speech in the work-place.

 Guide client to perform work responsibilities independently.

 Compile reports regarding aspects of client’s work-day.

 Position fosters positive relationships between community employers, Sunrise, and the clients we serve.

QUALIFICATIONS

 High school diploma or GED, or acceptable combination of experience and education.

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

 Valid Oregon driver’s license.

 At least 18 years of age.

 Pass criminal history check & drug screen.

 Must obtain CPR & First Aid Certificate.

 Basic computer skills.

 Proven, stable employment history with good work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.

PREFERENCES

 Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

 Own vehicle and insurance.
