Job Description: IT Technical Solutions Lead - Project ManagerAs an IT Technical Solutions Lead, key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading the alignment of IT solutions to business objectives
  • Creating business cases that demonstrate business value and support technology strategies
  • Communicating strategies, directions, and plans with business and IT stakeholders globally
  • Managing technical teams through complex problem solving to provide solutions to technology challenges that impact the transformation program objectives
  • Accountable for complete application lifecycle review and planning to manage IT Roadmap for applications changes
  • Represent applications strategies and technical roadmaps in change control boards
  • Collaborating with Infrastructure and Architecture teams to ensure applications solutions are integrated, performing, and support enterprise strategies
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to Business teams to define art of the possible through technology solutions
  • Guide decisions and delivery quality in third party solutions as they are upgraded or newly implemented
  • Lead new tool / application selection process for tools that may need to be replaced, upgraded, or enhanced
To set you up for success in this role from day one, we are looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum eight(8) years of IT professional experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in designing, building and supporting enterprise application solutions
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in implementing and managing cloud-based software.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to identify both risk and issue while aligning teams towards a solution.
  • Must exhibit a can do attitude in collaborative interactions.
  • Must be able to convey technology solutions in terms of business value they deliver
  • Demonstrate previous experience working in an off-shore dev model and how you've maintained quality and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of architecture process with a focus on the integration layer to include microservices, SOA and other middle layer technologies.
  • Hands-on experience and/or deep knowledge of digital transformation technical domains (e.g. microservices, containers, cloud native development)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Experience in digital transformations with cloud-based platforms Pega platform experience is a strong asset, else other similar enterprise workflow systems
  • Experience in Oracle ERP and financial systems management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills necessary to engage with stakeholders, governance, and cross functional teams.
  • Must understand full SDLC, and have experience leading Agile Teams; Scrum Master, or other agile, certification is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated leadership ability to learn quickly and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with various IT and PM tools - JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
  • Responsible for and authorized to manage the IT portion of a project.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Leadership to all IT related aspects of the project.
  • Integration (Planning) Management, Global alignment, Provide Scope, Cost and Resource Management for the project.
  • Time Management, Resource planning, Quality Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management.
  • Be objective in setting and assessing work, ensuring team buy-in.
