Job Title: Senior Performance Test EngineerLocation: Columbia, MDDuration : Long term with Sparksoft

Responsibilities:• Design, develop and execute overall automated performance tests to validate Load, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability standards of the application are achieved.• Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements for performance (such as throughput, latency, memory usage, etc.) are met.• Identify application performance bottlenecks and facilitate root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrence.• Analyze test results with engineers, product managers, other stakeholders and coordinates with the respective teams for performance tuning, memory leaks and bug fixes.• Coordinate and assist with building and maintaining performance test environment and data.• Prepare and deliver performance test summary reports.• Create and maintain test framework and scripts for Load, Stress and Endurance/soak tests.• Provide performance metrics through CI/CD enabled burst test designed for Web Services and heavy traffic areas of the application(s)•Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time and priorities effectively.•Communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers and management team.

Required Skills:•Experience with performance / stress / load / endurance testing of web applications, web services including planning, script development and maintenance.•Experience with SDLC and Agile software testing•Experience with ALM and/or JIRA and/or TestRail•Experience with LoadRunner / JMeter•Experience with NewRelic APM / Google Analytics•Experience with API testing / webservice validations•Experience with AWS cloud•Experience with Mainframe performance testing using Remote Terminal Emulation

Desired Skills:•Experience with federal government projects.•Certification in LoadRunner / Performance Center•Experience with CMS XLC/TLC processes•Experience with FISS/MCS/DME/CWF/BCRC/MPSM systems•Experience with Fee for Service (FFS) applications•Experience with build tools like Maven, ANT, Bamboo•Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, SVN•Experience with Medicare Eligibility, Claims Processing and Claims Adjudication processes
