IT Technical Project Manager -We are currently undertaking an Order to Cash transformation program consisting of several workstreams including core workflow development, intersystem integration, legacy application integration updates, data management and migration, and analytics and reporting.Looking for an IT Technical Project Manager who can lead the complex systems integrations and data transformations from an IT perspective in close coordination with our Sr Director of IT Transformation.Job DescriptionThe IT Technical Project Manager will be responsible for Managing multiple technical teams within the overall program Reporting the status of the program to various audiences (e.g. IT, Business, Executive)
  • Coordinating the activities of multiple teams including business, IT, and external suppliers to build integrated program plans
  • Providing weekly detailed management reporting
  • Driving the efficiency of the Agile methodology including prepping for stand ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Managing the projects instance within Jira including creating project reports and dashboards
  • Working with the team on cross organizational collaboration and with our external suppliers
  • Identifying and managing key risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to update executives on the status of the project and mitigate for action and/or decisions
  • Ensuring alignment to the overall program plan across all workstreams within the program In-depth planning of complex legacy systems integrations to work with new technology platforms
  • Planning and management of schedules for data migrations from on-prem legacy systems to new cloud-based platforms through APIs and data transformation migration utilities
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical Project Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Business or related field (completed and verified prior to start)
  • 10 years leading complex systems integrations for IT programs/projects
  • Full range of PM skills and ability to communicate each of these aspects
  • Stakeholder management Technology transformation risk management
  • Release planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understand all aspects of software development lifecycle
  • Understand various PM methodologies
  • Familiar with various types of project mgmt. methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc)
  • Understands all aspects of IT software development
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • PMP Certification (or equivalent)
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green belt (or other process improvement disciplines)
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills across technical and senior operational management audiences
  • Familiar with various IT and PM tools - JIRA, Confluence, etc
  • Excellent knowledge of project cost management including preparing cost estimates to determine project budgets, projecting Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EAC) and managing to total project budget as well as in-year allocated budget
  • Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
  • Responsible for and authorized to manage the IT portion of a project.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Leadership to all IT related aspects of the project.
  • Integration (Planning) Management, Global alignment, Provide Scope, Cost and Resource Management for the project.
  • Time Management, Resource planning, Quality Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management.
  • Be objective in setting and assessing work, ensuring team buy-in.
