ResponsibilitiesProvides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems. Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems. Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

QualificationsBusiness Analysts are key subject matter experts for enrollment, eligibility, benefits and claims.Knowledge of applications and products used in DMDC Entitlement & Benefits Portfolio. The Senior Business Analyst must have a background that substantiates that he or she has: - Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.- Experience analyzing business requirements and writing functional specifications - Experience with modern software design and development methodologies - Experience analyzing complex healthcare business requirements- Secret security clearance required Colorado Salary Minimum: $82,118.40 Colorado Salary Maximum:$175,572.80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
