Job Title: Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst Duration: 12 Months Location: San Francisco, CA 94105Note: Remote currently, but expected to be onsite once WFH policy is lifted.Top Things:· Good knowledge of using excel (Lookups/Pivot tables/etc)· Good knowledge of forecasting and contract management· Good knowledge of a business finance workflowEquipment: Dual Monitor is needed to work with spreadsheets. Client will supply a laptop.Position SummaryThe IT Planning Analyst primarily supports the Wireless Services procurement operations team. However, the position will work closely with Accounts Payable, Sourcing, Business Finance and IT Infrastructure teams to achieve all cost goals for services provided by Telecommunications Networking vendors. They will own and manage invoice accuracy (including disputes and resolution), SLA credits and internal reporting. They must be an efficient self-starter with an ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.Candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of telecom billing and Telecom Expense Management (TEM), including invoice audit and optimization, and hands-on experience with a hosted TEM application.• Perform other duties such as order processing and vendor account reconciliation to ensure timely payment of invoices• Monitor vendor account activities and follow up as necessary to facilitate and ensure timely issue resolution• Ability to prioritize/manage high volume workload• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment• Assist client finance team with month end accruals for telecommunications expenses Qualifications• At least 5+ years of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) experience. Experience with O&M and associated billing is preferred• TEM application experience/background (Calero/MDSL, Tangoe, Rivermine, etc.)• Efficient problem-solving ability: making the best decisions possible given the data quality and time availableAdditional Information Skills and Abilities:• Perform invoice audit, review and approval within SLA for accuracy Proficient with Excel is a must• Ability to manage portfolio of vendor accounts and escalate issues when appropriate• Ability to work as a facilitator and stakeholder on related projects• Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision• Ability to multi-task in various applications• Project management skills• Vendor Management skills This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
