Lead/Architect Java Engineer/El Segundo

A rapidly growing software company located in El Segundo is currently looking to bring on a Lead/Architect Java Engineer for a full time role. As a contributing member of their team, you'll develop in Java, Spring, Rest API, Angular, React and since they're growing, you'll have a lot of say in the technologies you want to implement there. Currently the platform is medium traffic but they want to scale it out and grow the platform. You'll be doing 100% greenfield development and 90% backend development and there's lots of growth opportunities here. They're looking for someone who is driven, proactive and wants to make things happen and someone who is idea oriented. Any design/architecture and leadership acumen is super helpful since they want to rapidly grow. They're looking for someone who either has a Computer Science, Math or Physics degree and strong Object Oriented Programming skills. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 8+ years of experience developing in Java
• Some experience in cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
• Any experience with scalability and growing a company is a plus
• A strong degree in either Computer Science, Math or Physics
• Someone who has experience designing and architecting systems
• Any leadership experience is a plus and someone who is driven and proactive
