Sailing tours sales (Waterfront / Newport)

Seasonal ticket sales staff needed for busy harbor excursion operation. Candidates should have previous experience working with the public.

Must have good communication skills

Be outgoing, energetic, and comfortable talking with groups.

Must be willing to engage with our product as fully as possible to be the public face of one of the most established harbor businesses in Newport – with 30+ years of providing great boating experiences for our customers

Must enjoy working outside and be comfortable with computers, making reservations with our on-line reservations system, answering questions about our vessels including what we do and where we go.

must be comfortable being on boats

Due to our location, we get a lot of general questions on the area so some local knowledge of Newport and the surrounding vicinity is a big plus.

Seasonal position May 15 – Columbus Day

We operate 2 of the most popular tour boats in Newport, offering visitors and locals fun excursions through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
