DESCRIPTION
Established residential construction company is seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be solely responsible for project execution during the construction process from the permit stage through the closing of each job. Supervising subcontractors and employees, homeowner walk-throughs, and inspections are examples of a typical day. Coordinating schedules and jobs with the appropriate talent and trade to ensure schedules are maintained and budgets are adhered too. Project Manager will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management for all jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain company construction and safety standards.
Approves work being performed by subcontractors, employees, and handle/trouble-shoot any related issues.
Authorizes payment of subcontractors and invoices related to jobs.
Maintain a safe work site by implementing and overseeing all safety requirements.
Maintain compliance with building codes.
Conduct homeowner orientation.
Implement and oversee the daily schedule to ensure subcontractors and employees are meeting daily expectations.
Homeowners walk throughs and home inspections.
Communicate directly with homeowner.
Direct monthly safety meetings.
Budget maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Construction Project Management Experience
Experience in reading construction budgets
Must be able to manage multiple jobs and employees
Must be able to work in a field capacity that covers the Upstate of South Carolina – NO overnight travel involved
Excel a plus
Construction Programs and Applications
Customer Service Experience
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
