We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our operations department as a full-time Pest Control Technician located in Knoxville, TN. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment but also excels at working at an individual level.

STARTING PAY IS $15.00 HOURLY WITH OVERTIME OPPORTUNITY

Licensing/Certifications

-A valid driver’s license – A company Vehicle will be provided for work Purposes.

-MUST Currently have:

-C07 - Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Health Related Pest Control

-C03 - Ornamental and Turf

Service Professional Functions:

-Conduct and record work or treatments provided to customers' homes or places of businesses.

-Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall or roof porosity and access to infested locations.

-Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to customers. Apply, mix, and work with pesticides in accordance with state and federal regulations. Set mechanical traps or place poisonous past or bait in areas needed.

-Respond to requests from the Branch Manager (s); identify and locate appropriate personnel as needed.

-Provide daily customer pest concerns or issues with a professional and timely matter.

-Cut or bore openings in building or surrounding concrete, access infected areas, insert nozzle, and inject pesticide to impregnate ground.

-Perform and maintain company vehicle inspections daily.

-Respond to appropriate agencies and branch manager as appropriate. Comply with the command/communication center in case of an emergency, disaster, or fire.

-Greet customers, branch manager, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. Process and record customer information as defined by the community.

-Collect payments for services rendered.

Identify security concerns and notify your Branch Manager. Effectively comply with company’s policies and procedures to service professionals.

-Attend and participate in service training programs to meet state and federal requirements.

-Effectively communicate via telephone ensuring that all service professional duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to deal tactfully with Supervisor, customers, and the general public. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is enough for effective communication with supervisor and customers. Knowledge of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Education and Experience:

-Prefer a high school diploma or related education.

-2 or more years of Pest Control Experience (Preferred)

-C3 and C7 valid certifications
