Utility Pole Restoration Crew Member

Osmose Utilities Services is hiring Pole Restoration Crew Members to perform maintenance work to poles. Crews drive steel into the ground to restore poles and install steel trusses to deteriorated wood poles. Job requirements include heavy lifting, digging, and physical stamina. Steel toe boots required. Weekly overnight travel required. Ride in company vehicles and lodging paid. Select cities have local work. Working in Lebanon, Tazewell, and Grundy, VA.

Full-time position with steady income. Starting wage is $15/hr + $2/hr adder rate and weekly production bonus, health and dental insurance available, company matched 401K, paid holidays and vacation, lodging provided. Osmose is a career oriented company with advancement opportunities. Crews travels during the week and home for the weekend.

Crew Members are expected to operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.) Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility pole. Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison to fellow employees. Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified). Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman.
