Mechanical Technician 2(Micro Assembly Technician) in Redondo Beach, CA. Kindly share your resume if comfortable with the following job description: Job Description: Micro Assembly Technician -Performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electromechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.Drafts detailed drawings for fabrication. Devices, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.Analyzes data and recommends modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.Micro Assembly Technician must be capable of assembling small components under a microscope and strict attention to processing requirements for glass to metal sealing, eutectic soldering, and helium leak detection.The applicant should also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings for requirements.Capable of using microscope and tweezers for assembly as well as using all manual support equipment and inspection tools to assemble hardware with little or no direct supervision.Willingness to work overtime when needed to satisfy customer requirements.Experience in miniature assembly in a clean production or laboratory environment a plus.Working hours on a 9/80 schedule.Manish Aswal| Sr. Recruiter | First Tek, Inc.
