Database Integration Analyst (SQL, ETL)

- They are currently using Oracle, MYSQL and looking to get on PostgreSQL
- Oracle is in host environment
- Need someone who can recommend access to data that has been put on the cloud.
- Someone with the programming background as some of the programs are deployed in AWS and have Front -end/UI, databases but they don’t have necessary data from their ERP.
- Someone who can quickly adapt to applications - technically savvy. Their UI is built on JS, Node.JS
- Someone who can troubleshoot: For example: If there’s an issue with database buffer, a leak etc, this person should be able to use the source code, debug statements and address that issue.
- Database Integration exp: For example: a student ap is implemented but is not interacting with the oracle DB, their ERP. Need help with.
- Someone who has extensive experience with frameworks such as JIRA, Bamboo, github etc.
- No Data migration to AWS exp is needed.
- Exposure to AWS is required as this person will be working with the cloud team
- Someone who can collaborate with dev teams and vendors
- Some exp with Reporting would be helpful.
- Support uPortal, Docker, Node.js, Canvas, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo, Stash, GitHub, S3 and other mission critical tools and applications in AWS.
- Work with Ellucian support action line and Ellucian AWS cloud team under the direction of management to coordinate and address application patches and upgrades schedule, maintain the consistent system availability for other teammates to perform their critical tasks both on premises and in the cloud.
- Work with staff system programmer and application programmer to maintain/ monitor/troubleshoot system performance using Data Dog and other tools.
- Familiar with Shibboleth and single sign on protocol using Shibboleth and Active Directory.
