expected to apply best practices in the management of Informatica PowerCenter ETL platform, work closely with a team to design, develop and support the ETL process in the datawarehouse environment.This person will contribute to the datawarehouse security and quality standards across the ETL process and will be called upon to investigate and resolve ETL/data quality issues.This is an user• C- Public Sector experienceResponsibilities • Substantially contribute to the system architecture and ETL layer• Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using clear, unambiguous, and simple language.• Transfer high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements• Design, develop and test(unit, volume, regression, performance), Informatica PowerCenter mapping as well as session and workflow based on ETL standards and specifications• Participate in data gathering, defining, and analysis of ETL requirements• Support cross-functional efforts to in Cognos reporting performance• Perform impact analysis on required changes in an expeditious manner• Maintain and support Informatica ETL processes in development, testing and production, on-call• Perform Informatica administrative tasks• Effectively communicate in person and via e-mail• Work with system architects to improve existing OLTP model, increase data quality, and improve ETL performance• Work with the DBA, Unix team and leads to maintain ETL stability, and security• Recommend to IT management changes to improve processes and ensure performance• Prepare SOPs (standard
