Network Systems Administrator Location: Valencia, CA Are you our next great Network Systems Administrator? The ideal Network/Systems Administrator will have a wealth of experience tackling various infrastructure and security problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with the latest infrastructure technology and tools, and understanding the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date and operating efficiently. Highlights of what a Network Systems Administrator will do:
- Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics to ensure on premise and cloud systems are operating reliably and with optimal performance
- Administer the network infrastructure across multiple offices
- Monitor the extended network infrastructure, respond to alerts, and provide preventative measures to increase reliability
- Daily monitoring of backup, including scheduling system test restores
- Maintain and periodically test the Disaster Recovery infrastructure and Application Test environments
- Upgrade and rebuild systems and perform regular security and software level updates
- Manage Database environment, including hardware and software
- Monitors security compliance in accordance with IT standards, policies and procedures, including regular security audits and checkups
- Document implementations and methods of procedure
- Advise and assist managing IT Helpdesk on Corporate Network and System Infrastructure
- Provides escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, network or PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery.
- Performs complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches and re-installations in cooperation with the Enterprise Helpdesk and in accordance with established SLAs.
- Serves as the IT point of contact and accountable for the IT portion of new office setups, office expansions, etc. This includes relocation and/or installation of voice/data communications solutions, LAN and PC equipment.
- Bachelors degree and 3 to 5 years industry related experience in a technical lead role or equivalent combination.
- Professional certifications as appropriate.
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards and network and PC operating systems
- Excellent knowledge of technical management and data governance.
- Demonstrated experience with standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows.
- Strong database management skills with ability to produce report and manipulate, analyze and interpret data.
- Must have a strong dedication to customer service.
- Experience working within a budget to complete projects, negotiating and contracting with vendors and assisting with budget development.
- Specific experience related to the following:

- Securing Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Authentication performance troubleshooting.
- Active Directory security monitoring.
- Group Policy configuration and deployment.
- Windows security patch management experience.
- Windows server configuration and build expertise.
- Strong files services administration and security understanding.
- Exchange migration to 365 experience.
- Exchange administration (Proofpoint experience a plus).
- Enterprise Backup Solutions.
- Virtualization knowledge with VMWARE solutions.
- VMWARE configuration using iSCSI SAN solution
- VDI configuration and deployment
- Azure VM deployment, AD Connect and Network/Firewall experience.
- Good working knowledge of various end point protection solutions like Crowd Strike, SEP, Cisco Umbrella, Windows Defender, etc. (Experience with Knowbe4 or equivalent a plus).
- Participated and prepared security access reviews.
- Experience remediating security vulnerabilities.
- Multi-Factor implementation for general remote access and O365.
- Mobile Device Management experience.
- Experience with designing and maintaining LAN & WAN based networks.
- Experience with managing routing protocols on large LAN environments.
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
- SD-WAN knowledge a plus.
- Experience with monitoring network traffic and troubleshooting network issues.
