SQL Developer with Teradata

- Strong conceptual knowledge in Business Intelligence / Enterprise data warehouse Projects
- Must have extensive hands-on experience with one of the enterprise data warehouses e.g. Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server
- Experience in developing complex SQLs, stored procedures
- Experience in working with all key database objects – Tables, Views, Triggers, Indices, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Dynamic SQL
- Experience in usage of analytical functions
- Good understanding of SQL tuning for optimized performance - Query performance tuning (Query Plan Analysis, Profiler etc.
- Provide necessary recommendations to improve the performance of the slow running SQL queries / ETL processes and should be able to implement and test the changes.
- Exposure to database modeling & design
- Knowledge of SQL best practices
- Knowledge on Distributed systems architecture
- Excellent problem solving skills (for debugging)
- Working knowledge in Teradata or Hive would be a plus
- Experience in working with big datasets would be a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to translate technical specs to Business users in a seamless manner.
