Responsible for deploying iPads, iPhones, Android devices, and other mobile devices within the Agency. Responsible for troubleshooting and remediating mobile device issues. Also responsible to provide day-to-day, business hour, non-prime, on-call, or call in mobile device administration support for mobile devices and apps.
  • Provides framework and support to internal clients for content that is created and/or provided by internal clients (e.g., education, research and operations staff) on mobile devices.
  • Assists with content administration and workflows, including training employees on how to add and manage content effectively.
  • Tracks mobile devices in Service Desk (Samanage) in an accurate and organized manner.
  • Installs, configures, and manages the administration of Mobile Device Applications.
  • Drafts and recommends updates to Mobile Device Management policies and procedures in conjunction with the Vice President of Administration and Legal Counsel.
  • Maintains working operation of Mobile Devices.
  • Gives effective and timely support to Mobile Device users via the Service Desk.
  • Creates and updates support documentation and procedures.
  • Has and maintains a strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies, both from Administrator side and end user side.
  • Has the ability to take ownership of new mobile technology solutions and performs Proof of Concepts.
  • Tests and verifies existing and future MDM environments and new apps on mobile devices.
  • Partners effectively with other IT teams (security, development) on mobile related projects/activities.
  • Effectively communicates mobile updates with internal clients (e.g., issues, new functionality, changed functionality, etc.).
  • Handles vendor management for devices and purchased applications/functionality in a professional, timely, and effective manner.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be well versed in mobile devices in general; iPad, iPhones, Android tablets, Android phones. Experience with Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Cloud Storage, and CDNs for content management. Five years experience managing mobile devices and mobile software/applications required. Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills required. Experience managing mobile content required. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population.
