- Provides framework and support to internal clients for content that is created and/or provided by internal clients (e.g., education, research and operations staff) on mobile devices.
- Assists with content administration and workflows, including training employees on how to add and manage content effectively.
- Tracks mobile devices in Service Desk (Samanage) in an accurate and organized manner.
- Installs, configures, and manages the administration of Mobile Device Applications.
- Drafts and recommends updates to Mobile Device Management policies and procedures in conjunction with the Vice President of Administration and Legal Counsel.
- Maintains working operation of Mobile Devices.
- Gives effective and timely support to Mobile Device users via the Service Desk.
- Creates and updates support documentation and procedures.
- Has and maintains a strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies, both from Administrator side and end user side.
- Has the ability to take ownership of new mobile technology solutions and performs Proof of Concepts.
- Tests and verifies existing and future MDM environments and new apps on mobile devices.
- Partners effectively with other IT teams (security, development) on mobile related projects/activities.
- Effectively communicates mobile updates with internal clients (e.g., issues, new functionality, changed functionality, etc.).
- Handles vendor management for devices and purchased applications/functionality in a professional, timely, and effective manner.
