Name: Battery Test EngineerStart: 04/19/2021End: 09/19/2021Location: Cupertino, CA (Onsite only)Job Description: • Conduct experiments that explore new materials and help engineering understand how they will perform in customers' hands.• Perform tests and documenting results in our secured-facility test labs. Test results will be reviewed at an executive level and have an impact on the final design of future products.• Scrutinize each test setup and procedure, then give feedback or suggestions for improvements.Skills: •Ability to run and write Maccor and Gamy scripts•Familiar with handling electrolyte in a glove box environment•Familiar with handling Lithium-ion batteries including Safety standards•Familiar with tensile and compression machines•Solid understanding of how a lithium-ion battery works•Working knowledge of accelerometers, a plus.•Mac OS and Microsoft Office experience•BS in Electrical Engineering or chemical engineering preferred
