The CMA/LPN will assist the providers in seeing patients -gathers essential information for EMR, updates Medication Module and History, initiates toxicology screens as ordered, completes necessary paperwork as ordered by provider, including printing prescriptions, work restrictions, referrals, and scheduling MRIs. The CMA/LPN participates in the correct scheduling of patients, appropriate communication with the scheduling department by tasking. Driving may be required if assigned to clinic locations. No Nights, Holidays or Weekends.Position RequirementsDesirable Candidates will possess: High School Diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or LPN License. 1-3 years of related experience. Knowledge of medical insurance and terminology. Must be detailed orientated with excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and phone etiquette with a professional and courteous manner required. Strong organizational, judgment, communication and analytical skills; sometimes under pressure. Ability to multi-task and perform multiple priorities. Cooperative and professional behavior toward patients, peers, providers, management and visitors. Ability to promote favorable facility image with patients, providers, insurance companies and general public. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Evidence of leadership qualities. The ability to contribute in a team environment and and/or independently, to provide excellent customer service. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
