Manage purchase orders from initial preparation to verification of receipt/pricing

Manage inventory levels, inventory turns and furnish month end reports

Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines

Partner with Engineering to identify and qualify alternative materials in the event of shortages

Collaborate with suppliers on strategic cost savings initiatives

Partner with Engineering to source new products

Work closely with Quality department to qualify first articles

Manage relationships/flow of materials with internal and outside service vendors (Fastenal, MJB, Janitorial,

powdercoat shop, platers)

Create new part profiles in Enterprise Resource Planning system
