Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- MUST HAVE small animal veterinary experience

You will need to be able to:

Check in patients & request information from the owners, vaccination records & reason for the visit

Clean, disinfect, and prepare rooms between each appointment

Administer vaccinations and other SQ injections.

Administer medications to animal patients through various routes.

Take notes on examination results and updating records

Provide owners educational resources and information on how best to care for animals

Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate with Veterinarians and animal owners. Being a team player is a must!

Advanced time management and organization skills

Problem-solving and decision-making

Dexterity, physical strength and stamina. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Compassion and empathy for both animals and pet owners

MUST BE PUNCTUIAL AND DEPENDABLE. TARDINESS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
