Retail Cannabis Dispensary Manager

Our dispensary, is a premier cannabis dispensary with a knowledgeable and dedicated staff and an impressive inventory selection located in Humboldt County. We are currently seeking applicants with strong-to-excellent knowledge of cannabis products, dispensary operations, and team management.

The Retail manager demonstrates effective retail management, supervises and inspects the performance of all personnel that work at the retail location, ensuring that all procedures are completed to company standards, and upholds the fun and friendly vibe that organization is known for.

Essential Job Functions:

● Ensures accuracy and compliance in all transactions

● Performs the required duties to record all sales and inventory transactions in accordance with BCC

regulations

● Maintains accuracy within the Point-of-Sale system

● Prioritizes and organizes work assignments, delegates work

● Oversees staff performance and follows up with corrections where needed

● Motivates staff, maintains a cohesive team

● Uses positive reinforcement

● Has team-building skills and the ability to build relationships

● Has an engaging personality and a passion for hospitality

● Is a leader who brings ingenuity and has experience managing a team in a positive and productive manner

● Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

● Working knowledge of business processes and system development

● Maintains established standards of presentation, customer service, and compliance

● Implements and oversees procedures related to opening and closing of the retail store

● Participates in the recruiting, training, development and success of employees

● Stays informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news

● Delegates ordering of cannabis-infused products and accessories

● Plans and directs sales, promotions, and events

● Delegates the performance of inventory audits and reconciliations daily, weekly and as needed

● Reports METRC adjustments to the appropriate parties

● Execute duties and maintain standards in accordance with company policies, SOP’s, and Local & State

cannabis regulations.

● Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

● Knowledge of Cannabis Regulations from CDPH, CDFA and BCC ● Valid CA Driver’s License

● Working METRC knowledge ● 2 Years of experience in the Cannabis Industry

● 3 years in a progressively responsible retail experience, including at least one year in a management position

● Able to use a POS system, Greenbits preferred ● Ability to manage a team of staff members at a time during normal business hours in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment ● Experience in inventory management and reconciliation ● Excellent oral and written communication skills ● Effective communication in the workplace and via phone/email ● Responsive to emails and phone calls in a timely manner ● Proficient computing skills ● Degree in business, management, or related areas, preferred ● Experience working in a heavily regulated industry, preferred ● Ability to liaison between state and local agency partners and media channels ● Great time management and organizational skills
