Facilities and Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Ensure and improve optimization and functionality of key systems

Operate key systems including handling consumable use and distribution such as nutrients, acids for PH, etc.

Allocate workload and supervise assigned staff

Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

Monitor equipment inventory and communicate orders when necessary

Monitor generator and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality

Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities

Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required

Ensure health and safety policies

Employee Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience and interest in cannabis cultivation is required

Possesses Do-it-Yourself skills to troubleshoot and implement sustainable long-term solutions

Must work well with others and have the ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and techniques.

Highly motivated and demonstrates good initiative and vision

Excellent organization and time management skills

Attention to detail

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Reliable form of transportation to site

Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

Ability to keep track of and report on activity

Experience in planning maintenance operations

Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
