Personal Injury Law Firm Intake (Bilingual Spanish)

Fast-growing PI Firm with clients all over California and Nevada needing qualified intake rep(s) to work remotely (home-based). PT work.

Must speak, read and write excellent English with an emphasis on personal injury/insurance law English.

Must speak personal injury/insurance law Spanish and be fluent in conversational Spanish.

Must have strong sales skills without sounding like a creepy car salesman. We are not a mill and we treat our clients like family.

Must have experience taking calls from potential clients, asking the proper questions (based on a solid understanding of tort law) to evaluate a good injury case and signing the client up remotely. Our office uses the latest technologies to facilitate communication and sign the client. We are a paperless office.

Must have excellent people skills, patience and empathy for injured clients, be willing to follow up as needed to sign the client and be available to answer calls "on-call" during normal business hours (and weekends). This job will include lots of free time and the work will come in waves so candidate must be comfortable with that.

Job duties include:

1. Answer calls from potential clients.

2. Evaluate case and weed out the bad ones while retaining the good ones.

2. Retain clients. Job #1.

3. Have clients sign entire intake package.

4. Quickly and efficiently collect all intake documentation, eg, accident/incident report, medical records, pictures, video, insurance from all parties.

5. Quickly track down and properly take witness statements.

6. Set doctor appointments.

7. Send out rep letters, open claims with insurance companies.

8. Assess property damage and assist client in handling their PD claims.

9. Organize entire file for case manager or attorney.

10. Communicate with attorney on a needed basis.

11. Other duties as needed. Prelit demand writing, a plus. Ability to negotiate settlements and reduce liens, a plus. Litigation experience, a plus.

We are a relaxed office (no micromanagement).
