Technical Writer / Business Assistant

We are a Cybersecurity & Cloud consulting company working with fortune 500 clients in Healthcare, Government, Energy, Blockchain, and Financial services sectors. We are looking for an intelligent 'think on their toes' person to handle technical writing and presentations for our customers. Much of this includes compiling technical docs on a given subject (from SME’s Subject Matter Experts) from software vendors' websites, talks, and presentations given @ conference posted on youtube and translating this into simple-to-understand graphics, documentation, and directions on our customer's internal wiki websites (typically Confluence).

The idea candidate should be proficient at

Microsoft Office Applications:

Word

Excel

PowerPoint

Outlook

Visualization/drawing tools experience a -

Lucid Charts

Visio

Draw.io

Templating:

Merging content from data sources into diagrams, documents & presentations

Wiki –

Atlassian’s Confluence

$30 per hour, plus breakfast/lunch provided.

Bonus’s given on a per-project/workload basis based on meeting our clients’ deadlines.

The ideal candidate is someone who can say “I don’t know how to do this” when they do not know how to do a task, but then goes home that night and comes back the next day having figured out how to accomplish the task.
