Bike Guide & Helping with Rentals

Cal Coast Adventures is looking for a Bike Guide that can also help with rentals on slower days or in between tours. We do a lot of city tours as well as some mountain biking in the area. This is a very friendly bike rental and guiding shop and we intend to keep the atmosphere we've developed; so a friendly demeanor and customer service skills are a must. If you enjoy riding and want to do some guide work this could be your dream job.

We're looking for a full-time candidate however if you're a great fit but can only work 3 days a week still apply as we can work with you. We will expect the candidate to work at least one weekend day if not both as those are typically our busiest days.

This position will lead a lot of bike tours and also help rent and receive bikes at our bike rental shop.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs; ebikes are heavy.

You will make tips on tours in addition to your hourly pay. The amount of tips will depend on how good you are at the tours.

We need someone that will be on time, reliable, and is good with people. A friendly demeanor and a go-getter attitude is a huge part of this position. We have a great working atmosphere and we’ll expect to keep it that way when onboarding new employees; hence a friendly demeanor is a must. You'll need to have a clean driving record.

The pay for this position will depend on your experience and ability. The range is is $17/ hr - $19/hr depending on your ability and experience.
