JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Premium Extracts Production Worker is responsible for handling various lifting, grinding, manufacturing and packing of cannabis leaf and concentrate. This position requires an extensive background check. This position is required to use an industrial grain mill as well as work aids including plastic bags, cardboard boxes, tape, ring cutters, metal twisters and scales.

JOB DUTIES:

Grinding/Loading – Transporting from storage to production area. Grinding of large quantities of biomass using an industrial grain mill. Grinding is done in an enclosed grinding tent with full protective gear including a full jumpsuit and PD-100 full face masks supplied by the company.

Load Glassware - Load and prepare glassware for production. Will spend more than an hour at a time loading glassware.

Empty Glassware - After extraction process is finished, the glassware will come back to the processing area to be emptied of biomass and transported back into storage.

Cleans area, sweeps and shovels biomass and cleans equipment and work area

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Candidate must report exceptional attendance and punctuality

Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment, ability to work as a team and follow instructions

Proactive mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment

Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job

Participate in company orientation and training

Basic math skills (such as adding and subtracting)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Three to six months experience in a production facility

Able to accept criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations

Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift/push-pull/carry up to 50lb repetitively

Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time

Must be able to use hands quickly and with dexterity

Work Week: 5 days a week for 8 hour shifts; business might require occasional overtime.

Compensation:

Hourly wage of $15/hour with medical, dental and vacation.
