Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic Wanted

Established company looking for a Mobile Mechanic to travel to various job sites throughout Northern California to troubleshoot and service specialized heavy diesel equipment. Specialize on-the-job training is provided along with a company vehicle, per diem and all hotel lodging. Work week is Monday-Friday; however weekend overtime may be required during peak business.

Duties include but not limited to:

Participating in all safety and tailgate meetings when on job sites and at home office

Maintain communication with Mechanic Supervisor and Equipment Operators regarding equipment status

Preserve and utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment provided

Travel to site to perform troubleshooting, repair and/or service on equipment as directed by Supervisor

Track work performed, parts used, and submit all paperwork promptly to main office

Locations usually vary day to day, throughout Northern California, based upon work priorities. However candidate may be requested to travel to southern California sites on rare occasion

Requirements:

FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE REQUIRED Results must not show felonies to be considered for position

PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG and ALCOHOL TESTING IS PERFORMED Random testing through employment is also executed. We are a ZERO TOLERANCE company

Experience with diesel equipment and hydraulic systems is mandatory

Must have own tools

Exposure to DOT Hazmat regulations and fleet requirements a plus
