EVENT SECURITY OFFICER

McHenry Protective & Investigative Services is currently looking to fill fifteen (15) Security Guard & two (2) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) spots to work the Untz Music and Art Festival. Festival runs 16:00 hours Friday June 4th, 2021 through 08:00 Monday June 7th, 2021

SECURITY OFFICER (Licensed) $16.00 per hour (returning staff will be paid higher rate)

Duties: Security Officers will be assigned to either a static post or roving post. Officers will be required to take a friendly approach to watching over the crowed to prevent incidents from occurring. Officers will be required to take preventative actions to identify Security, Safety and Health and Safety Hazards. Officers will be required to enforce venue, company, Local, State and Federal laws. Generally we want to provide a safe environment for event attendees to have a good time. At times we will use the spirit of the law vs letter of the law. We wont sweat the small stuff!

Security Staff will be required to respond to incidents and provide needed assistance, this includes security, safety and First Aid emergencies.

Requirements:

Must have valid BSIS Guard Card

Must pass pre employment and at event Drug and Alcohol screening

Must have ability to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to walk for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Must be able to lift 100 lbs unassisted

Must be able to complete the job function of a Security Officer without accommodations.

Hired staff will be provided training modules that must be completed prior to the event. Free CPR, AED & First Aid training will be provided the day before and first day of event for those who need it.

Must have current Healthcare / BLS CPR Certification

Must be able to lift 100 lbs unassisted

Must be able to complete the job function of a Security Officer and EMT without accommodations.

EVENT STAFF $15.00 per hour

Duties: Event Staff will be required to greet event attendees, take temperatures, Check tickets (wristbands) and search belongings being brought into venue. Event Staff will coordinate with Security Staff to conduct searches and to address security issues.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older

Must pass pre employment and at event Drug and Alcohol screening

Must have ability to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Must be able to lift 100 lbs unassisted

Must be able to complete the job function of Event Staff Employee without accommodations.

All Event Employees will be paid in full ($) on last day of the event.

Bonus paid if team meets all security and safety goals for weekend.

Guards working whole weekend (3 shifts) will make aprox $400 take home.

The venue and company will provide meals for staff.

Due to covid precautions, we will not be providing a trailer or group tent for sleeping or gathering this year. Staff will need to bring own tent, trailer or make other sleeping arrangements.

Staff may attend events of the festival while off duty.

ALL STAFF WILL NEED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF COVID VACCINE, HAVE PROOF OF NEGITIVE COVID RESULT WITH IN 72 HOURS OR SUBMIT AND PASS A RAPID COVID TEST UPON ARRIVAL TO THE VENUE. A POSITIVE COVID TEST WILL EXCLUDE YOU FROM THE EVENT. If not vaccinated, I highly recommend getting a covid test 3-4 days before event so you are not surprised upon arrival.

McHenry Protective & Investigative Services has been in business since 2006 as a State licensed Private Patrol Operator and Private Investigations Company. We operate out of Fresno, CA and have specialized in small to medium sized Events and Concerts. We provide Security and First Aid Services for 100 events and 20 concerts a year (pre covid). We are very professional but like to operate like a family. We all know that contract security will not make you rich but we go with the attitude, "I am not going to get rich doing this but I am having fun while doing it!"

We have provided Security for the Untz Music Festival for the past 5 years while it was operating in Mariposa, CA. The venue / location has changed and will be at the Sycamore Ranch Campground this year.
