Automotive Service Writer

Shop located in Security - Colorado Springs, CO AND 2353 E PLATTE AVE

Our family owned auto repair shop in Security is looking for an experienced Service Writer with at least 1 year of automotive service writing background. You must have a solid work history and proven customer service skills. You must be able to assess vehicle services and repairs by determining performance issues and services requested, verifying possible warranty coverage, developing maintenance and repair estimates, writing repair orders, maintaining customer relationships and records. We are open Monday through Friday only, weekends off!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Setting, confirming and preparing appointments with customers to expedite their service experience

Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner

Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing history, symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, estimates cost of parts, supplies and labor, calculating cost of services, entering RO into database system

Provides excellent customer service by explaining estimates and expected completion of work, obtaining customer's approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, arranging possible towing and transportation if needed

Ensure that the customer is provided with exceptional service from first contact through post services provided

Works as a team with management, technicians and office staff

Knowledge of Mitchell I Team Works a plus

No weekends

Salary is negotiable based on experience
