Low Voltage Technician

Custom Audio Video needs a Low Voltage Tech. Alarm experience is a real plus! This is a full time, long term job that is not dependent on the tourism industry to survive. We are a stable company that has been in business here for over 30 years.

You'll need to be able to professionally interact with both the clientele and other employees and represent our company's high level of customer service and attention to detail.

We do residential control systems [lighting and climate control, automated shades, AV, network, alarm, and home theater systems.

You must:

Have experience with alarm system installation.

Be a motivated team player with positive attitude

Deliver high-quality work

Have customer service skills

Have a clean, professional appearance

Be proficient working with hand tools and power tools

Have the ability to work on ladders

Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Have or will acquire own tools. We have a program to help with this.

Be able to lift and move furniture and work in basements, attics and crawl spaces

Have a sense of humor. And patience.

You will:

Mount TVs, screens and projectors

Pre-wire for and install racks for networks and complex integrated systems

Install lighting control and home control systems

Trouble-shoot audio, video, and control system issues

Nicet Level 2 is preferred

You must have great references, a good job history and be able to think and work independently.
