Job DescriptionJob Title: Solutions ArchitectLocation: Troy, MichiganReports to: Eric Dobrzelewski OverviewThe Solutions Architect partners with internal technology partners, client services teams, and clients to design technical solutions that integrate with One10’s core solutions. The Solutions Architect develops and communicates application architectural designs, and supports implementation ensuring integration with other technologies, data, and applications. Serves as application portfolio architectural advisor to IT management, their staff, and clients in a visionary role. Scope of Work

  • Acts as high-level technical expert for software product development and/or purchase, addressing challenges of systems integration and compatibility.
  • Gathers information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements to design application systems to perform well, both logically and physically.
  • Researches and evaluates software and services to assist in programming or to use as program platforms.
  • Assists in architectural design refinement and reviews with implementation teams.
  • Assists in the establishment and enforcement of best practices, including security, auditing, and scalability.
  • Assists in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality.
  • Mentors and motivates developers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in IT, computer science, business or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 7 years’ experience in the IT field with experience in application design, database design, and project management.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Development Lead.
  • Successful track record developing large, complex projects.
  • Expertise in conceptual modelling and the development of use cases.
  • Expertise with Microsoft technology stack (.NET Framework, .NET Core, MS SQL Server).
  • Experience with Azure services, Azure Portal, and/or Azure DevOps a plus.
  • Experience with product development and transformation a plus.
