Information Gateways, Inc. is currently looking to hire a
Resource Manager to join our team to recruit for a wide range of positions with an emphasis on information technology. This position is responsible for the identification, qualification, and matching of candidates to client technology requirements. Specific responsibilities:- Manage overall recruiting process, partnering with account execs and hiring managers to develop short and long term hiring goals
- Participate in recruitment efforts focused on fulfilling client requirements at the federal, commercial, state and local level
- Source and screen qualified candidates, leverage personal network, direct cold calling, job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, and web resume mining techniques
- Manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process, understand candidate motivations, set expectations, provide consistent and prompt feedback, and negotiate and close all offers
- Work closely with IGI management to plan and prioritize activities
- Check references, conduct background checks, and conduct offer negotiations as necessary
- Ensure confidentiality of all information
- Any other duties as designated by management
- Related Bachelor's degree with emphasis in such areas as personnel selection, human resources, business administration, management, sales and marketing, or equivalent is preferred.
- 2-4 years of general recruiting experience including sourcing, internet searching, compensation negotiation, scheduling interviews and networking via social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- A general understanding of IT concepts and latest trends (Technologies for E-Solutions – Java, .Net, SharePoint, etc.; Middleware; Databases/Data Warehouses/Business Intelligence; Infrastructure/Network Solutions; ERP, etc.) is preferred
- Prior experience with Recruiting Management software (eg. Taleo, Oracle) preferred
- Excellent skills in online research and using MS Office and Outlook
- Requires superior communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, strong attention to detail, demonstrated multi-tasking capabilities, and an unwavering work ethic
