One of the most progressive financial institutions in the US is looking to bring on a Systems engineer to work on a major migration. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies such as Docker Swarm, AWS, and OpenShift. The ideal match is someone who has an inquisitive mind and is passionate about DevOps methodologies. Required Skills & Experience
- EC2 instance provisioning, scaling, load-balancing, backup, administration, and security
- Terraform scripting, CloudFormation, and Ansible automation and orchestration
- RDS management and performance tuning
- Building system monitoring dashboards and alerts with CloudWatch, SNS, and Splunk
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and branching concepts using Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Gitlab
- Has built automated deployments in the past with fail-overs and rollback mechanisms
- Strong experience building and managing Docker containers (Fargate is a plus)
- AWS CLI experience and deep knowledge of Linux
- Understanding of networking concepts: DNS, Proxies, NACL, VPC, EIP, NAT, Route Tables etc. and cloud security (IAM roles and policies, Certificates, Security Groups, SSO, Cognito, SAST/DAST)
- APM monitoring and alerts (New Relic, AppDynamics)
- Competitive Salary: Up to $150,000/year, DOE
