Job Title: UI Developer (AEM)

Location: Dearborn, MI

Duration: Long Term Job Summary:
  • The Front-End Developer will provide expertise in a wide range of technical areas including software design, code development, and application of new technologies and languages which are aligned with other FordDirect internal projects.
  • This is a hands-on development role that will work closely with internal teams assuring timely delivery and leading developers with programming issues and technology solutions.
Web Services integration experience:
  • Experience in an agile, rapid development environment working with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies (7 years).
  • JIRA and WIKI experience a plus.
  • Estimating technical resources experience (5 years).
  • JavaScript (5 years)
  • Markup languages HTML, CSS, etc. (5 years)
Education:Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field OR commensurate experience. Detailed Information:
  • Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
  • Design, Code and implement web-based user interfaces and responsive web design, utilizing modern web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS, and AJAX) and integrating with frontend.
  • Strong skillset in CSS, HTML and React technologies
  • Knowledge and experience in version control software
  • Experience in developing modules in AngularJS, Working knowledge in Bootstrap framework and jquery
  • Excellent knowledge of semantics and code optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of engineering practices on CI-CD
  • Knowledge in Adobe Design tools like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator
  • Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, and Developers to establish appropriate framework and architecture.
  • Create technical design, write/perform unit testing and compile builds.
  • Develop estimates for technical resources.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality in a dynamic environment utilizing current versioning tools and techniques.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems and escalated issues related to assigned applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation to support applications builds and maintenance.
