Job DetailsThe Systems Engineer is responsible for program development and production of Focal Plane Arrays (FPA) by coordinating with other disciplines to ensure that all requirements are met, documenting requirements and verification methods, analyzing data and participating in reviews.Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer:
  • Develop, maintain, and validate models and simulations.
  • Determine test requirements and test methods. Support the development of cryogenic test system. Analyze test data such as Quantum Efficiency, Dark Current and Power Consumption. Determine the verification methods for mechanical requirements.
  • Failure analysis
  • Automate Systems Engineering spreadsheets
  • Improve existing processes
You should know the following:
  • Knowledge of semiconductor, image sensor, optics, cryogenics, or infrared
  • MATHLAB
  • Mathcad
  • Python
  • Excel Macros
  • Some programming experience
