  • Manage the PPAP Asia Manager
  • Preparation and execution of monthly executive Report outs
  • Act as an administration coordinator by developing and maintaining documentation required by internal and external customers to support customer approval activities.
  • Manage and track internal and external activities throughout the transition process.
  • Creates, executes, and maintains Project Plan (scope, schedule, cost, risk) and Project risks and issues (PDCA, Action Register etc.)
  • Assures adherence to APQP / PPAP deliverables.
  • Lead Cross-Functional team as required to achieve common goals/objectives (Key Performance Indicators - Development, Quality, Launch, Financial, etc.). Support Cross-Functional team meetings to ensure Program / Project is on time and all Customer requirements and internal issues are being addressed efficiently.
  • Engage Program Manager/Account Manager/Customer Manager where appropriate to ensure a successful launch of projects and installations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Program Management guidelines, including preparation for Program / Project Gate Reviews. Report monthly to Management the Program / Project status (Program Readiness Reviews).
  • Engage and support Manufacturing facilities as required for Launch Readiness Reviews.
Education:Bachelor of Science, Engineering preferred or B.S. in another discipline with acceptable years of experience in product developmentExperience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in an Automotive Quality environment
  • 1-3 years of successful Program / Project Management experience.
  • Preparing IMDS modules and submitting to customers.
  • PPAP experience.
  • Experience in Product Life Cycle (PLM) / Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
  • Familiar with different/customer-specific requirements from various Global OEMs.
  • Successful track record in coordinating or leading the execution of Program / Project teams with adherence to cost/timing and constraints.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:
  • Major in Mechanical Engineering or related studies.
  • Solid knowledge of automotive core skills and customer portals
    • IATF16949 & VDA requirements
    • Basic blueprint reading skills with thorough understanding of Control Plans, PFMEA's and Process Flows, GR&R and capability requirements.
  • Proficient in M.S. Office (365, Excel, Power Bi, Teams, PowerPoint, Project or equivalent).
  • Business / Finance and Engineering acumen.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills (in English) and interpersonal skills with ability to manage diverse internal and external customers, co-workers and varying levels of management.
  • Supervisory management skills
  • Coordination skills to leverage resource cooperation from remote locations.
  • Ability to de-escalate and resolve Conflicts that would otherwise halt project progress. Active listening skills required.
  • Highly self-motivated and structured with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Autonomous, accountable and transparent approach to the management of the position's roles and responsibilities.
  • Flexible to work across different time zones
Physical Requirement/Work Location (On-Site Critical, Partial Virtual, Fully Remote)
  • Will be fully remote, but once offices open, may be required to go onsite for business meetings
