Our Software Analytics client is seeking a qualified Senior Data Engineer Java/Scala with the following:
Must Haves:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong foundation on Java and/or Scala (Java highly preferred)
- Good amount of experience on big data skillset: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Spark highly preferred)
- Cloud experience: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Adaptable, eager to learn, can pick things up quickly (look for those who take initiative for continuous learning)
- Google Cloud Platform experience
- NoSQL
