Contract with Forward Air Freight. 1099 opportunity. Run is Sunday through Friday, six nights per week. First trailer usually loaded by 8pm. Terminal to terminal from Sterling, VA to Harrisburg, PA, swap trailers (possible load time), and return. Roughly 5 hours driving per round trip. Often two round trips per night which varies as per need. Pay is a flat $200 per round trip. Qualcomm electronic logs. Vehicle currently in use is an "automatic" Freightliner day cab pulling company 53 foot trailers.
May switch to Tesla tractor when they become available.
Must have class A, good driving record, over a year verifiable experience, and ability to obtain hazmat.
All Forward Air Freight drivers must attend orientation. Orientation runs twice per week in Columbus, OH. Orientation pay is 600 paid at the end of 3 months driving.
