General Laborer-Residential Construction

Built by Joe is looking to hire a construction laborer to join our team. Built by Joe is a thriving, fast-paced business that provides high-quality residential contractor services across the Atlanta area. The position will be responsible for completing work tasks related to general remodeling under supervision. We work a 9-5pm shift but due to the nature of the job please be willing to be flexible. Most of our work is in the Roswell and Alpharetta area but may be within a 25mi radius.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

Some experience in Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, repair and replacement experience (knowledge and experience of all these trades is a plus, but not required).

Some jobs may have specific working hours.

Coordinate special projects as directed job requirements

Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with everyone in contact at the jobsite including residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above.

Able to use a work checklist and communication well with team members to effectively complete work.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

Must have reliable transportation to haul tools and basic materials and willing to drive to different jobs on a daily basis if required.

Must be able to work with other team members and take direction from the Lead. Most jobs will be scoped with a clearly defined list of tasks that must be completed 100% without exception. Must be able to identify additional work needed and communicate this to supervisor.

Required Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required. Compensation is $15 to $18/hr with room to grow.
