Human Resource Specialist

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

o Develop and implement policies and procedures for staff training, quality assurance, observation and supervision.

o Develop and implement a system for maintaining all information pertaining to employees; personnel files, new hire reporting, probationary periods, payroll, benefit eligibility, disciplinary actions, training, supervision, etc.

o Manage employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, etc.

o Ensure all employees have met qualifications and training requirements

o Complete the new employee Orientation training.

o Adhere to state regulations governing Developmental Agencies and Residential Habilitation Services.

o Disabilities Ensure Developmental Concepts, Inc. provides a safe natural environment using material conducive to training and skill development

o Participate in hiring and firing, training and supervising employees of Developmental Concepts, Inc.

o Follow up with participant and employee grievances in an impartial, fair manner.

o Prepare official reports; i.e., insurance reports, workman’s compensation, unemployment, wage, etc.

o Assist with coordinating the administrative functions of the organization.

o All other duties assigned.

Requirements:

o Possess a Bachelor’s degree

o Have at least one-year supervisory experience

o Ability to pass a Criminal History Background Check.

o Strong knowledge of office procedures.

o Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

o Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
