Server/Bartender/Line Cook

Kingston Mines, a famous Lincoln Park blues nightclub, is looking for energetic, outgoing, friendly, service-oriented, self-starters. Employees must work well with others, have a positive attitude, as well as always maintaining a professional manner in all situations.

Server/Bartender:

Currently accepting applications for servers that will also bartend or cross train into bartending.

Work schedule will include a combination of shifts bartending and serving Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30pm-1:30am, both positions will serve food and cocktails. Bartending will include making craft cocktails at high volume speed, filling server/guest orders, and backing the bar. Serving will include taking orders tableside, guiding guest through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of food, beverages and ingredients. Take accurate orders and partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations. Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return. Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized and safe atmosphere. Heavy lifting required. High volume experience required.

LINE COOK:

Looking for an energetic self-starter who can handle the grill, fryer, & flattop, etc. We are looking for someone with a passion for food who is sanitation-minded and scratch cooking oriented. Additional skills: the ability to analyze & solve problems, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure, the ability to work well with others, a positive attitude, and a professional manner and appearance in all situations. Work hours include Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00pm-1:30am
