Heavy Equipment Operator

We have a current opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our project at Grissom ARB in Indiana. The Operator will be safety-oriented and use various types of equipment to complete work relative to airfield lighting and underground utilities.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment

Experience with backhoes, excavators, water truck, and wheel loaders

Must have experience in the Water, Sewer, Storm Drain or underground utility field

General knowledge of confined space entry, construction, complex pumping systems, electrical

Competent and knowledgeable relating to OSHA excavation requirements

Knowledge of construction stakes and grades

Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections; maintain daily log
