System Manager

Job SummaryAs a System Manager, you will focus on ensuring that information systems are functioning optimally and are compliant with associated regulations and standards. Responsibilities include monitoring and auditing system performance; collaborating on and implementing information security controls as well as back-up and disaster recovery processes; overseeing installation, maintenance, and upgrades; and ensuring service levels meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of technical support standards
  • Evaluate software and system problems and potential solutions to application systems requirements
  • Contribute to major projects and take ownership of key phases or deliverables as directed
  • Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, Web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements
  • Work with operations staff to define an operational framework that defines, develops and implements delivery systems, systems management, policies and security frameworks to ensure delivery of knowledge and information to appropriate groups
  • Provide support to IT groups as directed to ensure solid cross-functional decisions are made as a team
  • 5-6 years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural. Experience with managing an application platform including access control, system health and monitoring, network and other health support management.
  • Proficient in process and data modeling, architectural development methodologies, IT planning methodologies and extensive knowledge of the enterprise's business and decision-making processes.

  • Experienced in resolving issues relating to data security and integrity of controls
