Job SummaryDue to Integra Partners’ continued growth, we are looking to add a UI/UX Designer to our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be working with our cross-functional team to create products that combine high consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience for our internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking talent with solid UI/UX experience, aptitude for learning and a positive/can-do attitude to make an impact on building our next-generation platform. Please note, we are all working remotely at present and the expectation is once it is deemed healthy and safe to return onsite, this role will be based out of our Troy, MI office.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Utilize user-centered design approaches to define customer problem/opportunity with cross-functional teams.
  • Design user flows, wireframes and mockups at a high level and build out refined details.
  • Incorporate business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into the design.
  • Present, articulate, and sell design ideas and recommendations to product owners and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in user research activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability studies.

What will you achieve in the first 12 months? You will be part of the team that is building future state platform using best practices and advanced technologies. You will have an opportunity to build high quality designs that will be utilized by all components of our platform moving forward.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience in user-centered design solutions and product design innovation. Must illustrate solving for multi-platform UX challenges and demonstrate scalable, user-friendly designs.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and stakeholders to develop and articulate detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet these requirements.
  • Knowledge of web development with familiarity of multi-platform development techniques.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with architects / developers / engineers.
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design, design thinking, planning and conducting user research, rapid prototyping, user testing, and heuristic analysis.
  • Experience with Material design, and responsive web design best practices.
  • Solid understanding of WCAG best practices.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and partners.
  • Proficiency in Sketch, InVision, Miro and a willingness to try new tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop unique, outside the box ideas.

Required Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience crafting user-centered experiences for complex products.
