Process Engineer I

Location: Mountain View, CA - Onsite RequiredLength: 6-12 monthsProcess Engineer IResponsibilities • Responsible for the development and implementation of clinical trial material manufacturing processes, instrumentation, and equipment from the laboratory through pilot plant and manufacturing scale-up. • Assists the manufacturing operation in problem solving with regards to equipment and systems. • Establishes operating equipment specifications and develops manufacturing techniques. Involved in new product scale-up, process optimization, technology transfer and process validation activities. • Interfaces with various departments to ensure processes and designs are compatible for new product technology transfer and to establish future process and equipment automation technology. Skills Required• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. • Typically requires no previous professional experienceEducation and Experience• Associate of Science degree in Physical Science or Engineering, or B.S. in Physical Sciences, Chemical or Materials Engineering. • Prior experience with Pharmaceutical/Medical Device process development a plus.
